Abstract There are a large number of immune cells in the blood cireulation, which are capable of preventinginfection and invasion by pathogenic microorganisms and also play an important role in tumor progression. Tissue-resident momory 'T cells ( TRM) are a special subset of tumor infiltrating lymphocytes that can indefinitely reside intissues and respond rapidly to their homologous antigens. 'T'RM consists of two subgroups, CD4* and CD8* , bothcharacterized by the expression of CD69 and CD103 markers, which activate innate and adaptive immune responsesthrough the production of cytotoxic cytokines. 'The role of TRM in slowing down tumor occurrence and development.inhibiting metastasis, and reducing tumor recurence has been confirmed in various solid tumors. In order to furtherinvestigate the biological characteristics and immune mechanism of these cells, based on literature review, the basicbiological characteristics of tissue resident memory 'T cells were combed, and the role and research progress of CD8'T'RM cells in the treatment of solid tumors such as breast cancer, non-small cell lung cancer and liver cancer were reviewed, aiming to provide new strategies and targets for tumor treatment.
